Mitchell Lawn and Landscaping was originally started by two brothers, Scott and Stephen Mitchell, when they were just kids in the 7th and 8th grade. They started the company as a summer job that would help them to earn extra spending money. From their summer work, the boys developed a passion and skill for landscaping and made a commitment to becoming landscapers. After going to college and receiving degrees in Horticulture, they officially founded their St. Louis landscaping company in 2003.
